Bikini Berlin is a concept shopping mall hosting some pop up stores, art exhibitions, cultural events and some really nice eateries. It sits in a funky building that borders the Zoologische Garten.
No, I don't like Zoos nor caged animals in general, but right in the middle of the mall, you can find Funk You in a popup stall facing a large window.
They have good healthy alternatives for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. My favourites are the Ultimate that comes as salad or wrap, with avocado, pesto, mozzarella and tomato, or the Sensation, with feta cheese, honey, pesto, zucchini, olives and tomato. And if you are more serious about making peace with your body there's also the vegan wrap, which comes with avocado, coriander, zucchini, tomato, spring onion and sesame.
On top of that, they also have great smoothies. My preferences go to the Perfect day, with orange, mango, strawberry, or the Berlin beach, with orange, mango and pineapple.
