About me
I am an IT professional who is a trained and experienced consultant and a certified project manager in implementing specialised business solutions.
Born in Manila but is now establishing roots in the land of scones, shortbread and tea – eventhough I am a bonafide coffee drinker! I find gyms boring so the way I keep fit is dancing. However, I am totally in love with food so it won’t be long till the cellulites find me.
Me and London
I first set foot in London back in 2000 en route to an IT project in Cambridge. Since then, I made it a point to spend any of my free time in London – either staying in hotels or crashing at friends’ houses. It was the glittering lights of the West End that made me come back everytime. But with each visit, I’ve discovered that there is more to this great city than the theatrical stage. I finally moved into London in 2005.
London, to me, is having and enjoying the best of a multitude of worlds. It is here that one can maintain his or her identity at birth while assimilating in a multi-cultural environment. This diversity makes one feel at home straight away and not like a foreigner even when visiting for the first time.
The city is very much alive and constantly changing that the true Londoners are those who are here and now experiencing its every breath. A lifetime would not be enough to know this city inside-out. And that’s what I intend to uncover in the time that I’m given.
