Moniuškos Square, which is located near the St. Catherine church, you can always meet a lot of in love people. The Apple tile represents the S. Moniuškos Square as a rendezvous place.

The Apple tile is one of a series of paving tiles, which was created by an artist Gitenis Umbrasas in 2007. The tile represents heart and apple. The apple and heart symbolic reminds us of the love story about Adam and Eve or the beginning of our Earth.
