Rosalia's Menagerie is a cozy cocktail bar right in the heart of The Wallen in Amsterdam on a small and authentic canal. I must admit that if it wasn't recommended by a friend, I would have probably never found it by myself, so I am very delighted!
The first thing I noticed when arriving at Rosalia's Menagerie was the welcoming and smiling staff. Then, the indoor area is so romantic, with a multitude of different types of chairs, beautiful wallpapers, and wall decorations giving a relaxing and charming vibe. With its candles and dimmed lights, I personally find it to be the best place for a romantic evening. But, hey! you can also go there with friends.
The cocktails are simply amazing and definitely different from the usual mojito or margarita. My very favorites have been the Rougarou and the House Figue Manhattan (a wow depth!). You can also get a cocktail with the famous Jenever (something like a Dutch gin) and get nibbles if you arrive earlier. If I haven’t convinced you enough, the head bartender Alessandro Rancan has won the Dutch prize of Best Bartender in 2022, which tells enough about the quality of the cocktails!
So, if you are in the Center of Amsterdam, why not grab a cocktail after having a Ramen at Ramen ya?
You do not have to reserve as the spot is first come, first serve.
