035 Bar is another hidden gem in Barcelona, the kind of spot that if you don't get a recommendation from someone, it is very likely you will (unfortunately) miss. It is located in La Sagrera, the same zone as the amazing Cyclic Beer (in fact they are very close neighbours and I really recommend you do a route passing by them), and Nau Bostic: another amazing events spot that my colleague Ilse de Rider has written about!
It is an amazing restaurant designed in a very chilled and minimalist way. It is run by Ivan and his wife, and even in pandemic times you may have trouble finding a place to sit on weekends. The time I went there, they had a German food week, and it was absolutely fantastic: the well known German BRATWURST was incredible and served a different way (the sausage was not inside, but on the bread), the ground beef surrounded by cabbage leaves, and the potato salad was enough to want to come back as many times as possible.
But the best part is the curated bottles of natural wine available in there. Sadly, because of the restrictions, in the hour we had to have lunch, we only tasted 2 bottles: one large maceration white and a red that made us fall in love with it.
Special mention for the amazing playlist they play in there, found in Spotify under the name of 035 BAR.
