If you are into craft beer culture and want to explore outside the main touristic parts of Barcelona, you definitely have to go to Cyclic Beer. Owned by a Catalan and an American, who were and still are big fans of natural wine and are inspired by mixed fermentation beers like the Belgian-style Saison, they have developed their own set of yeasts and bacteria through time. And now they produce an amazing mix of mixed fermentation style beers such as Lambics, Saisons and more.
This kind of beer has a very savage sensory aspect that can make a beer lover fall in love easily. The brewpub (yes - they have a very rustic but modern and organized shed inside their factory) is located in La Sagrera, a relatively unknown zone for most tourists in Barcelona. Its entrance door is located on a very calm street that has almost no cars passing by, and you can often see many tables outside with locals and expats appreciating their products. Every now and then they do some pop-up kitchen events inviting someone from the gastronomy community of Barcelona.
Cyclic Beer also only uses seasonal and local products to mix in its beers, either harvested in one of their partner's property in Alt Empordá or from local small producers in Catalunya!
