Gourmet burgers are in fashion in Barcelona at the moment. Trendy burger restaurants such as Maka Maka and Bacoa are popping up all over town. As I find burgers are the ultimate comfort food, I am quite happy about the trend. But.... I don't know if I am a creature of habit or just haven't found anything better yet; I keep returning to Pim Pam Burger.
Yes, gourmet burgers are fashionable, sometimes adventurous and, occasionally, even presented as healthy. Nothing of that nonsense at Pim Pam. Here you get a proper, down to earth, delicious hamburger as it was supposed to be. Juicy meat, some lettuce, onions and tomatoes and your choice of sauce. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
If you are into a bit more adventurous burgers; choose one of the others on the menu, with different sauces, or add your toppings just as you like! Whatever you do, and however big you perceive the burger itself; always order fries. They are simply amazing!
The place only has a couple of tables and can get quite packed. Be patient, the guys behind the counter work very hard to get your burger to you as fast as they can! No spot there? You can also choose to order as take away! You are only a few steps away from Park Ciutadella. Doesn't this sound like a good picnic menu?
