Take a bow for the master who came up with the name! That's it, no more or less than maestro! JaM is a gem trying to unsuccessfully hide itself at Gundulić venac.
The interior combines natural materials with pastel tones. Dyed stone from Italy dominates the space, followed by onyx and glass. When I think of JaM, I think of the intimacy, the coziness, and the unobtrusiveness.
JaM has raised the bar for every hedonist in the city. Its concept of simplicity gets under your skin. The garden smells like fresh lavender and lemon. Close your eyes and you can easily find yourself somewhere in the Mediterranean. The food is launching into another dimension! The menu is perfectly put together: not too long but still offers enough varieties. It plays the boldness card and wins.
Only here will you be able to taste a soup made of pomegranate, beetroot, walnut and goat cheese. What about a risotto with pumpkin and cracklings? I dare you to choose between the pistachio tart and choco-devil cakes (three types of chocolate). This is one of the rare places in Belgrade where you will also admire the dinnerware.
JaM offers art on a plate and lightness of being that turns every next visit into awe.
