When we talk about Kalemegdan and its views over both rivers Sava and Danube, we always think of the view we get from the rampart, close to the Pobednik monument. If you stay behind the Pobednik, and then go to your right, you will come to this place. This is the view I'm talking about.
What most people, even the guys from Belgrade, don't know, is the view you can get when you go to the left side of the Pobednik monument.
First, when you look to the left, you will see a big old house which is some kind of Monuments Institute. Behind it and a little higher up, you will find the location this spot is about.
In my opinion, that view is even better than the one I mentioned above. Most importantly, it's definitely more private, which makes this place romantic. There is a bench where you can sit with your loved one, enjoy some good wine, and watch the sunset.
What you can see from this view is parts of New Belgrade, the newly built Belgrade Waterfront, Branko's bridge and all the riversides nightlife.
It can be a bit noisy, because you will hear all the music from there, but trust me, you won't even pay attention to that when you see all that Belgrade in front of you.
