Meduza is a bar situated in my favorite street of my favorite neighborhood in Belgrade. Although it has fierce competition, being surrounded by bars, cafes, shops and artisan bakeries popping up almost every month, this place has been open for quite some time, and has consistently been one of my favorite places to go to for a drink with friends.
Meduza is a bar located on two levels. The main floor is always lively, with plenty of people and groups sharing a drink after work or pre-gaming before heading out to a nearby club, while the upper floor is more tranquil, it often features exhibitions where independent artists can display their work.
The menu is both comprehensive and innovative, with probably the best selection of Gin and Tonics I've seen in a bar, and the staff is always happy to recommend a new flavor to suit your tastes. Cocktails are plentiful and of good quality, and the prices are more than fair.
Of course, if you're just feeling like drinking a cup of coffee with a slice of delicious carrot cake, this place has you covered. As I've mentioned, this place really does have it all.
