Popy Coffee Family is a small, cosy place that mostly works as a takeaway kiosk. On its menu, it offers different kinds of coffee, delicious fresh juices and other snacks like cookies and little sandwiches. An interesting thing about Popy Coffe Family is that everything on its menu costs 150 RSD, around 1.30 euros. And you really get the very best quality for that.
I had a cappuccino with Oreo cookies and tried a lemonade and raspberry juice. All of them tasted really, really delicious, so I really recommend them. The raspberry juice is not made in the kiosk, but it is a Serbian product, and you know that we Serbs are famous for our raspberries. However, if you want to drink lemonade, it is freshly made in the kiosk.
But take care, they don't put any sugar in it, you have to do that on your own! I also want to say that the guy who works inside the kiosk was very pleasant and enthusiastic in his work, which is always a good thing to see.
Popy Coffee Family is located on the brink of the city centre, so it's a perfect place to start your lazy Saturday morning walk. You put your shades on, grab a coffee or juice (or both), and then decide whether to go to the riverside or onto Kalemegdan. Both are close.

The daily menu can, for example, include pumpkin with leek and poppy seeds, Thai curry with dried banana, chutney and raita. Or the good old veggie burger.
