Close to the Bajloni market lays the only (that I know of) low waste caffe in Belgrade. It is also a vegan and non-smoking place, so it is quite unique for our city.
Veza is a cozy spacious and calm place, that offers different and tasty drinks and food. I first learned of Veza from a friend – huge coffee lover – that praised the coffee with hazelnut milk that she tried in Veza, soon after that this became our go to coffee place. If you are not into hazelnut milk there is also an oat and almond milk option, all crafted by the owners, a couple that is quite active in the Belgrade vegan community. This is why in Veza you can find many interesting publications on veganism and some other environmental topics.
Apart from coffee, Veza offers tasty vegan food, from vegan scrambled eggs to avocado toasts, fried vegetables, an assortment of hummuses, and tofu prepared in various different ways. And if you find yourself in Veza on a Wednesday you will an opportunity to try their ramen, vegan one of course.
During warmer parts of the year we also get to enjoy all that this place has to offer in their small garden.
