When my favorite Thai place in Boston closed down for good, it was a dark time for me. I wandered from Thai restaurant to Thai restaurant, searching for a red curry that could match theirs in spice, size, and deliciousness. Many of these places were good, but none could compare. As winter 2018 hit, I had basically given up on my search, and resigned myself to never finding that steaming curry plate for a cold day - that is, until I discovered Dok Bua Thai Kitchen in Brookline!
After a day on the town, my boyfriend and I were starving and decided to give Dok Bua a try as we were close by. What we discovered was a paradise of quick service, great prices, and wonderful food. The restaurant is spacious and cute, portions are large and nicely spiced, and they have a lot of affordable lunch and dinner specials. They also offer delivery if you're unwilling to brave the Boston cold this time of year. After the many Thai places I’ve tried this year, Dok Bua Thai Kitchen became my new favorite after one meal! Check it out and let me know your thoughts.
