OK, I admit, I'm an addict, a pizza addict and for pizza addicts the center of Brussels is not exactly the best habitat. In my hunt for a big and tasty pizza I decided to expand my territory and one of the places that can trigger pavlov-style reactions is this lovely family-run pizzeria, Cosi Com'e, that also serves delicious fresh pasta. One of my friends even has declared the quatuor di pasta (four different fresh pastas you can choose from the counter) would be her last supper if she would ever be sentenced to death. Pizza too large or quatuor too much? Don't be afraid to ask for a doggy bag!
On warmer days take out your pizza, buy a bottle Nero d'Avola and have a pizza picnic in one of the nicest parks of the neighbourhood: the Dudenpark is only a couple of steps away.
Although Cosi Com'e is a bit far from the center on foot it's very easy to reach by tram. Line 51, coming from Heysel, stops almost right in front, lines 3 and 4 coming from the center stop at 'Albert'. Exit here, drink an apéritif in Bar du Matin and from this nice place it's only a ten minute walk to pizza heaven.
