There's nothing in Brussels like "Le Corbeau" (the crow).
It's a brasserie, a local restaurant/bar during the week and the daytime. But when it comes midnight, it's the opposite of the Cinderella fairy tale. It turns into a princess of fun. Music gets louder, people stand up to dance, then they step on the chairs and in no time, the tables are covered with people dancing.
I just love it! It's crowded, it's smelly, it's loud, but it's super fun.
Music is pop and rock with the oldies we all know the lyrics of by heart, French music and some latest hits. I sing along the whole night, and the next day I am left with no voice, but I don't care, it's always worth it.
Because you might end up sharing a dance on a table with someone you don't know, it's very easy to make new friends -- for an evening or life! Just be careful not to fall down if you've drunk too much of that beer!
