While I was on a leisurely stroll in the center of Brussels looking for a present, I saw an inspiring and neat shop window and decided it was worth stopping and checking the place out. Its name, Cphagen, also intrigued me, as it reminded me of the last time I was in Copenhagen visiting cool shops with my fellow spotter Stefan.
I didn't find the present I wanted, but I discovered a corner of Nordics in Brussels, a welcoming shop, a nice and friendly owner and the place I'll go back when I'm looking for something nice, stylish and at an affordable price.
Thomas is Danish and moved to Paris and then Brussels long ago, doing a completely different job. He missed "many of the beautiful products from my home country" as he says on his blog. So, in 2018, he decided to go for it and opened his own shop.
He is passionate about his job and his products: visit him, and you'll learn a lot about Nordic design while trying the famous salty licorice Scandinavians love (not me, but you have to try it to make up your mind!).
