So ladies and gentlemen, the proliferation of bars in Place Flagey continues with gusto. Here, I'm pleased to share with you, is a fantastic addition to the local drinking scene.
L'Amère à Boire is run by people with passion for beer and it shows. Forget mediocre brews - this bar is about diversity and quality with a menu long enough to keep things interesting round after round. There are six beers on tap that rotate and at least a hundred more available by the bottle. Throw in a changing guest beer and you're all set to enjoyably learn about Belgium's national drink. The atmosphere is very laidback, with a nice mixture of students, Flagey locals, curious passersby and the serious beer brigade.
Oh, and it also hosts live gigs on a regular basis!

Sando is a nice nickname Japanese use for sandwiches. I love it! Sandwiches have a sauce more or less spicy and are filled with veggies and/or meat or tofu.

"Parc Leopold" is quiet, it's small and it's hidden. It's one of my favorite places to picnic in Brussels or to rest on one of the benches.
