Les Tissus du Chien Vert is a true institution in Brussels. Opened over 30 years ago in the Canal District, this 3-floor store is a reference for textile lovers who are looking for a wide choice of fabrics for both interior decoration and clothes-making. Here, more than 5000 apparel fabrics are sold by the meter!
The setting of this huge store is in itself worth a visit. Boats hanging down from the wooden ceiling, sails and cords that are reminiscent of the founder’s passion for the maritime world... All around, fabrics of any colour, pattern and type are displayed with a lot of care according to their use, be it to make upholstery, curtains, bedclothes or clothing.
Les Tissus du Chien Vert is without a doubt the store I would recommend if you need to change your interior decoration. If you are looking for a new cover for your sofa or a nice fabric to make cushions, be sure that you will find your happiness here. This is a place where you can boost your creativity. There is also a whole section dedicated to sewing and haberdashery and you can take part in a sewing workshop.
If you are a textile lover, a professional or you simply happen to be in the Canal District, don’t miss Les Tissus du Chien Vert. Did you know that it was recently visited by the wife of a famous head of state in Brussels for an EU summit?

Sando is a nice nickname Japanese use for sandwiches. I love it! Sandwiches have a sauce more or less spicy and are filled with veggies and/or meat or tofu.
