Situated in the cosy Chatelain area with a lot of nice restaurants and bars, Oldboy is an Asian-inspired restaurant. Both owners have Asian roots in Taiwan and Thailand, that's why the food is a mix between both countries with a European touch.
All food comes on small plates to share so that you have the chance to taste a bit of everything. The menu isn't very large (around 15 dishes) and changes every now and then. Everything is homemade, the baos or dumplings are inspired by street food in Bangkok or Tapei.
This restaurant is a vibrant place, with good (loud) music, friendly staff and an open kitchen. They even have some seats at the counter so that you can see the chefs cooking in front of you.
Oldboy has a great selection of (mostly) natural wines and some fresh homemade cocktails that will go perfectly with the food.
Next door they have opened Lil Boy, a takeaway and delivery shop that contains some of the dishes of the restaurant.
If you like Asian food, you should definitely try Oldboy - you won't regret it!
