The Orient on a pita bread
Calif is one of my favourite oriental fast-food places because everything on the menu is fresh and available at any time of the day. Although they have a lot of things that you can find in other kebab places in Bucharest, like the classic shawarma or kebab, they still manage to make them differently. And they also serve unique things, too: try their amazing falafel or the cheese kebab.
Lahmacun or falafel with eggplant and pomegranate sauce is something I usually have during the weekend nights, perfect after you've had a couple of drinks :) During the day you can even try one of their delicious lentil soups or all sorts of salads and they even have lunch menus at great prices.
Did I mention that Calif is open till 04:30 in the morning? The place is just perfect for either a quick snack at night or an amazing lunch.
Tip: Combine the kebab with an ayran and indulge yourself with a baklava, if you have a sweet tooth!
