Fortunately, there are more and more shops opening with the purpose of producing less or to get closer to zero waste, making sustainable solutions easily accessible. Ligeti bolt is one of the pioneers in Budapest among these shops. If you bring your jar or box, here you can fill it with all kinds of grains or pasta etc. Basic equipment and accessories can also be found for a more conscious life. Some snacks, jams, creams for bread, seeds, but also cosmetics are among the products they sell. By now, there are three shops in the city, one on the Buda and two on the Pest side.
This is the place where all products are available for a bit more sustainable lifestyle. Ligeti Bolt itself has a very calm, peaceful atmosphere. Sometimes I enjoy even just coming in for a short lookaround. I find it a generally inspiring place as it shows how many different alternatives there are to choose from and it only requires a little effort from one’s side to think about it and rearrange a few of our habits.
