If you need something funny/unique or personal for an affordable price, this is the place to go. To reach Szia+, you have to walk through a second hand/charity shop. When you enter, you will find a fun little room with tons of diverse and unique things. From matrices of the heads of politicians to jewellery, bags, socks and other objects made by local designers, you can find fun clothes, accessories and plants. They have a very kind, helpful staff that is happy to share more about each item in the shop with you.
Sometimes, especially when I had been lacking ideas, Szia+ saved me from having to go to birthdays with empty hands. Thanks to the wide variety of objects, there is a good chance to find something personal for any friend. I bought, for instance, bags with drawings on them that related to a personal story or interest of my friends without it being obvious to other people. By the way, "szia" is a word that is good to learn if you are in Hungary; it's the informal version of both "hi" and "bye".
P.S.: the little charity shop you have to walk through is also worth a look, in case you're interested in books or clothes for a few hundred forints.
