If you ever happen to be wandering Budapest's busy business quarter, or if you work there like me and have not yet discovered it, there's a cosy place called New York Bagel that serves delicious bagels.
I love starting my day here with my personal favourite, the "Don Corleone" bagel. Almost always, when I visit the office, I brighten up my morning with a bagel. The service is quick even when busy, so I can never be late for the early morning meetings.
When you walk in, you'll see the old-fashioned neon sign, which will make you feel like you've entered a portal to New York. You'll also smell the freshly baked bagels. They offer a wide selection of bagel types, some served hot and others cold. Whether you crave breakfast or an early lunch, this spot is fantastic. Give it a try next time you're in the area; you won't be disappointed!
