As a person who loves heights, I pick places that satisfy this desire. Eltonsy café does that perfectly. The café is on the rooftop of Eltonsy hotel (which is accessible both by hotel guests and everyone else), on the 32nd floor, to be exact. It's located nearby the center of Cairo (about 15 minutes on foot from Tahrir Sq.) and very close to the river Nile. It has both outdoor seating and indoor seats as well.
There are four unique things in Eltonsy cafe that make it good for me.
First, the open-air dining area that offers good views of the River Nile from above.
Second, they have a good place to watch live football matches. I usually reserve a front-seat sofa there to enjoy watching my favorite football team with friends.
Third, the place is very easy to reach, as it is nearby downtown. That makes it a perfect spot to hang out whenever I want to.
Four, the prices are affordable if you take the view and the service into account.
