As we are have our special cuisine in Cairo, we rarely go dining in other country's restaurants. But Indian Gate was special enough to put itself among the very rare famous and successful Asian restaurants in Cairo.
I felt like I was in India, not just dining in an Indian restaurant in Cairo: they play either relaxing Indian music/songs or Indian movies in the background, they have many Indian posters attached to the wall, the smell of curry and Indian spices fill the restaurant atmosphere, and finally the chef who cooks the food is an Indian chef.
I also loved the varieties of food in their menu, which is as huge as a a book. They have a vegetarian menu a non-vegetarian menu (they usually ask me whether I want my meal stuffed with chicken, beef or vegetables), a sweets menu, and finally the drinks menu.
The menu has made me visit their restaurant many times to try all the different kind of Indian food they have. And what has encouraged me to visit them more than once has been their prices, as they are very acceptable to me, compared to the service they provide.
