Eating pasta with my friends is one of my best ways of facing depression, but I really do not know what the relation between them is. Pastaweesy is my favorite cozy Italian fast food restaurant for pasta, and I have tried many of its branches throughout Cairo.
For me, one big dish of pasta with cheese, fries and green salad is a complete meal. Every time I go there, I try different kinds of sauces and I would suggest most of them. The oven pasta is very similar to the pasta my mom used to cook at home, whereas the pasta with white or red sauce is very popular, as they are the casual types of Italian pasta. I think that golden and yellow sauces are the perfect choices for the lovers of trying out new types.
In Pastaweesy, you can easily find your favorite type of pasta with a lot of options: chicken, meat, sausage, mushroom, bastrma, kofta and liver. Also you can mix any two of these options together -- I really love sausage and mushrooms together.
You can order your pasta from many branches near you, but I still prefer the Pastaweesy in the middle of Gamet el dewal street.
