About two years ago, I was feeling bored of most of the places in Cairo. I decided to go online and check the closest and most unknown place to go grab a bite, hoping to enjoy my meal with no interference of any sort.
The first result to show up was 15 minutes away and the description said "South African cuisine". I did my research trying to read some reviews before blindly heading there, but the place was so recent that no one had published anything about it yet.
That specific fact intrigued me to go check it myself and what happened afterwards was very unexpected.
I found dim lights, colorful walls and artistic paintings that formed an authentic atmosphere I felt just from by opening the door of the place.
Every visit to Zulu has touched a new soft spot in me. It relentlessly made me decide to celebrate my 27th birthday there, with friends coming and going while IÂ was having different types of company for at least 6 hours.
Yes, you just can’t get bored of the place that easily, especially when they know that your special day deserves an extra special treatment, pampering you with cake and warm-hearted wishes.
