88 Marketplace is my favorite Asian supermarket in the city! It is just a short bus ride or walk from West of Chinatown, where you can find a range of Asian groceries within its 80,000-foot, three-story interior.
There is a fresh produce section, ready-to-go meals, Asian candy and snacks, spices and sauces, and so many noodles. In addition to collecting ingredients for home-cooked meals, shoppers should also stop by the food court on the second floor. You can find a selection of dim sum options and a BBQ and seafood restaurant.
I absolutely love the soup dumplings and fried pancakes at Dong Bei Ren Jia. There is also a bakery (get the Portuguese egg tarts!), a boba tea shop, and a Korean hotdog shop.
On the lower level you will find a fantastic hotspot restaurant called Qiao Lin and another boba tea shop -- because you can never have enough boba shops in Chinatown.
