I have always had very warm feelings about the Ethnography Museum, as it shows the road of what it means to be Moldovan today.Â
The museum has a beautiful collection of objects that depict the history of Moldovan and Romanian traditions and customs. For me, the most impressive is the collection of traditional costumes from different periods and areas and the Tree of Life sculpture in the main hall. Also, it is quite interesting to follow the geological evolution of the land and fossils that inhabited Moldova from prehistoric times to this day.
Besides the value of the exhibits, the museum is located in a beautiful building with unique architecture. Also, there are reviews by good tour guides that manage to build a really nice experience for its guests. You could be really lucky and visit the museum when it hosts yard sales or fairs, as this happens quite often.
