Allegedly Bobi bar is the oldest brown bar in Copenhagen. Original interior, same dusty atmosphere and still the local place for many writers and artists. Everything about it feels authentic and has a contemporary coolness about it at the same time.
It's right in the center of Copenhagen and at prime time you can have difficulties finding a free table, but you should go have a look anyway and find a spot at the bar where you can grab a beer and one of their local specialties - hardboiled eggs.
The eggs are served with mustard, salt and pepper and is an old tradition at this bar. Whenever I visit, I make sure to order the traditional egg and golden lady Tuborg beer. Especially when I'm with tourists. I have to say that the bar is for smokers too.
This is not the only reason I think this particular bar needs a spotlight, but go take a look for your self. I think it's worth the visit for sure.
If you are bar crawling then there are a few other brown bars around like Moose, Wessels Kro and Byens Kro. Cheers from me.
