On the very northern edge of what can be considered Copenhagen, in the little seaside town Hellerup, on a very tiny square, lies a wonderful little bookstore. It's wonderful for several reasons. The ambience</strong>; it's warm and inviting, probably making you want to stay for a while. The selection</strong>; all in English, and so much to choose from. How about a Taco Tuesday cookbook? Or a collection of first-hand accounts from female explorers? And even if you don't have kids, you might also want to spend some time in the inspiring and colorful kids section. The staff</strong>; friendly and knowledgeable, just tell them a bit about your thoughts and interests and they will come up with at least a handful of suggestions - and just to warn you, you might end up buying all of them. The comfy furniture</strong>; yes, you can also get a hot drink and relax into one of the soft chairs before or after shopping.
Books & Company also hosts book clubs every month, and they host readings and talks throughout the year. Furthermore, even if you're not able to visit in person, you can get recommendations, like Book of the Week, on their website. This place is not just a bookstore, it's more like a community hub - you'll notice that when you visit.
