Dagmar Teatret, as it is called in Danish, it is one of the most artistic and prestigious movie theaters in the city. Right by the City Hall, and part of the Nordisk film chain, Dagmar’s main theater is beyond your best dreams, especially the lux armchairs with your own table and light, the huge high-quality screen and the heavy, red velvet theater curtain.
Besides that, though, it is home to a romantic café bar from another era, with a piano free for anyone to play and jazz music always playing in the background. Bonus: if you visit the toilets, you will see a mini exhibition with Dagmar’s history from the opening to today!
