When passing by this shop, considering its very central location as well, you'd think it's probably just a touristy shop, with all the guides outside on display and all. Right? Wrong! I couldn't have been more wrong about a shop in my life!
For years, I have been passing by it and never went in precisely for this reason. I kept saying I will, but never did until a book on display outside caught my attention, so I "plunged in" to buy it and I was happily -and tremendously- surprised...!
It does indeed have A LOT of guides, but mainly, as its name suggests ('Map handler' in Danish), it's all about the MAPS! They have them all...! And if not, then you can have them custom made! There is a whole 'map laboratory' at the back, homey sofas to sit and read, some cute travel-related objects and generally the store is way bigger than it seems from outside!
So, book and travel lovers, gather up! We got a new shop of our own! And as they say in the bookworm world, 'never judge a book by its cover'!
