Whereas most of Frankfurt's neighbourhoods have their own vivid area with shops for your daily needs, little restaurants and bars, Westend-Süd doesn't have as big an offer. If you happen to stay close to the fair in Frankfurt, you really need to know where you can go, especially on weekends. Brenman's is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, a quick lunch or around coffee time.
There are plenty of seating options outside for sunny days as well as in the shade, but it's also cosy inside, and you'll find a well selected choice of picture books when coming with kids -- the spot is very (!) kid-friendly, by the way.
Besides the great coffee (and I'm very picky!), freshly squeezed orange juice, a delicious choice of sandwiches, pastries (try the cinnamon rolls) and cakes, Brenman's is preparing creative and healthy small dishes during lunchtime on weekdays as soups, shakshuka or bowls.
As the spot is close to the banking district, it might become crowded around noon, but before and after I really do enjoy the tranquility there.
the space has moved their selling counter around the corner, so don't be surprised if you have already been there.
Have a look at the Facebook page to get a closer idea of what you can expect.
