Frankfurt is open for visitors and well prepared. So, dear cowboys and E.T., if you're planning to visit us at any time, free parking is available at the University Campus Riedberg. It is easy to continue to downtown by underground from there, so it's actually even park and ride! No fees, no guard on duty and most probably free if no other extraterrestrials or cowboys are around. Welcome to Frankfurt.
I really like this hidden piece of art by German artist Jens Andres in front of the building of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy. The artwork is called "Troublemakers", and I am sure these parking lots would be troublemakers if it were somewhere downtown, where drivers are struggling to find parking space. Outside here, I love the charming idea of hospitality, to reserve a space for friends from space, whenever they may plan to come and visit... and of course for cows also!
The artwork was created in 2016, and to my knowledge, the three parking lots have not yet been used a lot. So, a massive opportunity. Stop by, visit Frankfurt, we're ready.
