eatDoori just recently won the Golden Palm at the Leaders Club Award 2017 for their concept, the idea and of course for great food.
And I believe it was well deserved, as I have always been very fond of the Indian fast food concept on Kaiserstraße, in downtown Frankfurt. The setup is innovative and the service concept is fun: you order various parts in flexible combinations from the menu, fill in a tick box slip with your choices and clip the order slip to a wire over the table... and you're ready to go. I like their curries and enjoy their signature chicken tikka!
eatDoori also offers business lunch and the place gets really crowded with business men from nearby banks and companies. Only then do they have two different Thalis (platter with different curries, vegetables, breads and sauces on the menu). I really like the combinations they offer.
The setting is great, although the hall can become quite loud when full. Enjoy the busy place, watch the people and enjoy the food. If you need to go to the bathroom, eatDoori will take you on a typical Indian train ride - what a fun idea they had!
I also like the second place they have in Oederweg and the smaller one in Mainz, but eatDoori on Kaiserstraße is the original!
