On the Oeder Weg, it’s pretty hard to have a bad bite to eat. My favorite has to be Gokio Bros however, as there’s nothing that quite beats the combination of Korean fried chicken and beer.
The ingredients are all of high quality, and I particularly like the way they plate everything on their menu. It’s stylish yet unfussy, because at the end of the day fried chicken should be relatively uncomplicated. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a spicy or sweet sauce to accompany it.
It’s the little details that get me though. Pomegranate seeds, a mix of white and black sesame seeds, pickled side dishes, everything just melds together.
With plenty of outdoor seating and a relaxed vibe, I couldn’t imagine a better joint to grab a bite with friends. Every time I go in I try a different sauce. They’re all delicious.
