Jasper’s is my favourite restaurant in Frankfurt, no question. You can’t walk into this tucked-away restaurant without feeling like you’ve been teleported to Paris. If I’ve been promoted or I’m looking for a restaurant to have a proper birthday dinner, there’s nowhere else I want to be.
It’s a bit hard to find, hidden away among the backstreets of Sachsenhausen. Once you’re in, however, you can’t help but marvel at the ambiance Jasper’s has managed to capture. It feels like a Parisian time capsule from the ’30s or ’40s.
French restaurants can be a bit stuffy, and it’s easy for prices to get inflated. Though Jasper’s is by no means a cheap night out, we’ve always found the menu and wine card to be exceptionally reasonable.
Most importantly, the food is spectacular. Most of the dishes I can comfortably say I don’t have the skills to prepare at home, and I think of myself as a pretty decent cook.
Whether it’s a romantic night out, a birthday celebration, or you’re just looking to splurge on a 3-course meal, Jaspers is the perfect atmosphere to take care of your needs.
