Bid farewell to stress at this lovely place. Of course, the Meridian Spa offers high-end workout facilities as well. However, I love coming here to shake off stress and leave rejuvenated and ready for the next day.
There are not many spas in the city centre, if any, that offer as many saunas and relaxation areas. I do believe that it feels like a little vacation when going to a spa, but that might also be a cultural thing. In Germany we have one of the most comprehensive spa cultures in Europe. Yes, there is an etiquette and there are "towel only" areas, so be open-minded if this is your first spa experience.
Once you have decided to treat yourself to a visit to the Meridian Spa, you can spend a whole evening here. You might start on the rooftop terrace while the sun is still out, read magazines in the relaxation area, enjoy a massage, enter one of the four saunas or the steam room, swim in the pool, sit in one of the whirlpools and finish off with dinner at the restaurant in your bath robe.
The after-work entrance fee is only € 21 when checking in after 19:00 and you can stay till 23:00. Another advantage is that you get to enjoy four hours of free parking for your rejuvenating cure.
