This bar is not only a trip back to the '70s in terms of interior decoration, but also a trip back to Berlin: I lived in Berlin for many years, and I've struggled to find the distinct laid-back attitude, unfinished building look and yet homey feeling in most Frankfurt bars. However, Moloko+ manages to offer it all
The bar has many seats inside, so it can host large groups, if you make a reservation. I mostly enjoy the large windows with a direct view on the nearby square, so you can engage in people-watching. During the summer, it's lovely to sit on the many seats outside and catch the evening sun. The hand-written menu lists magnificent cocktails (watch the barkeeps mix them, it’s magical), selected beers, wines, and also daily changing dinner options, mostly small salads, pasta or sandwiches.
It gets very crowded after 20:00 during most days, so either make a reservation or show up real early.
