I had the best concert of my life in Nachtleben. It will likely make this review a bit biased, but I don’t care. I had beers with one of my favorite bands after the show. That’s what kind of venue it is.
Nachtleben’s basement can hold maybe 200 people in it, and they routinely book great bands and artists. It almost feels like you’re 18 again and standing in your buddies garage as the local band jams along, the only difference being that most of the bands that come through are on some kind of a European tour.
When Nachtleben hasn’t booked a great act, they usually have DJs spinning something that’ll get your toes tapping. One night could be electro swing, the next indie pop, the next being reggae, there’s always a lot of variation.
What’s great is there are two levels here, so depending on your mood you can have a more chilled experience above, or a raucous one below.
If you’re looking for decent music and an intimate club to hear it in, Nachtleben’s the place.
