A movie theatre, a restaurant, a wine bar. Orfeos Erben is all that and much more. When exploring the area of Bockenheim I can easily find many relaxed, informal and easy-going places to grab a bite at. Here however, what is offered is a unique environment of intimacy and refinement. Orfeos Erben is a delicate multifaceted place, which I can resort to either for a nice meal with that friend I have been meaning to catch up with for months or a date with my boyfriend. Sometimes I simply start with a marvellous appetizer dish and a glass of wine and allow my taste to explore the exquisite palate combinations that the Orfeos Erben cuisine has to offer.
However, Orfeos Erben is not a restaurant per se, but a movie theatre, above all. The theatre room is spacious but small enough to provide an intimate environment. Forget about the modern and streamlined theatre rooms, Orfeos Erben really sets the bar in combining cutting-edge technology and good taste. The room is decorated in an antique and cozy style, and the commodities they offer are remarkable. Comfortable and spacious reclining chairs with a small table space, invite you to bring that glass of wine over to the theatre room and to prolong your tasting experience even longer.
They usually have a special selection of movies so keep an eye out for what is on! Dress lightly, as the room can become rather warm; simply leave your jacket at the entrance and enjoy!
