To be frank this bar won’t be for everyone. It’s the kind of place where bankers and big-4 consultants meet up over drinks, but if you’re accustomed to that scene or your just looking for a trendy place to have a nice beverage, Sullivan's is a good place to have a beer.

I work a white collar 9-5 and have met colleagues here after work more times than I care to count. The staff are all fun, know how to make a good cocktail, and are great at keeping the drinks flowing. My colleagues are regularly upstairs, as they allow smoking on the upper level as well.

There’s a mid-century modern/retro aesthetic to the décor that I feel quite at home in as the music gets progressively louder as the evening goes on. The steak nachos are also pretty killer.

If you’ve been out for a fancy dinner or a night at the opera and you’re looking for a good place to have a nightcap, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sullivan’s as a good way to finish off, or perhaps begin, your night out.
