I have a theory: Every city should have at least one food place where anything you order ends up being good. Oh Martine! is one such cafe in Geneva.
A rustic decor with a "thrifted" look (mismatched chairs, cozy sofas, minimal but mindful decor), Oh Martine! is known for its tartines — a slice of toasted bread topped with fresh ingredients. Quite filling as a meal, giving you the protein and the fiber. My favorites is the Bahn Mi — spicy. All their tartines are also available in salad form.
If you aren't that hungry, there are small plates, croissant sandwiches, and even cake slices to engage your taste buds. A little birdy also tells me they have the best Cannelés in town. While I still prefer Utopia's cappuccino, the lattes and frappes here are fantastic. Golden latte and vanilla frappe are among my favorites at Oh Martine!
Boasting two locations, they are a local favorites that are buzzing with activity even during the week. Looking for somewhere cozy to catch up on emails? Head straight to Oh Martine! It can get quite noisy, though, so don't forget your headphones.
