I came across their restaurant randomly as I was talking through the streets of Eaux-vive to find a place to eat with my friends. The U-shaped table gives a very intimate vibe and the small dining area means that you can strike a very personal conversation with the people running the place. The bright wallpapers and colors give a funky vibe to the place, and there’s also self-service to get your drinks.
They offer great burgers, although I went for the nachos and the portions were quite generous. My friends took a while to come so they were patient with the chair being occupied for half an hour as we waited for them. These are all signs of great service. The gentleman working in the kitchen has expertise in Mexican food and I bantered about how they needed to level up their spice game because I was not feeling anything hot. But then again, I’ve got an Indian taste bud which is quite different if you are a traveler from the west.
Careful: if you have a nuts allergy, check with them. Most of their plant-based cheese is cashew-nuts-based.
