Near the big shopping street in Ghent there is a charming little jewelry store called 'au bon marché'. I’m not fooling you, the interior is as retro-French as it sounds. Entering this shop will take you back in time, or at least take you to an old movie, the kind of movie with really fancy boutique shops. The interior makes me think of an old pharmacy: a lot of wood and cabinets as high as the ceiling. Even when you don't want to buy anything, it's nice to go inside and check the interior.
If you’re not really a jewelry type of person, don’t worry, they sell all kinds of things besides jewelry. It’s also the perfect store for the people who are looking for a little gift or souvenir. If you’re not sure about your choice, ask for advice! They will definitely help you find the perfect gift. Just go and spoil yourself!
