The area around our main station finally has its own contemporary coffee place. The owners of Eltòn filled a gap between the typical bars you find in a train station neighbourhood. This area once had lost its vibe, but a lot of new shops, restaurants and bars are bringing back the glory of the good old days.
You can find me here during the day, sipping the best coffee you can find in the neighbourhood in the evening, sipping an aperitivo or at night, with a cocktail in hand. When the day progresses, the atmosphere turns from daytime-soothing to evening-cosy.
Every second Thursday of each month, all the people who work in the neighbourhood blend in with the locals and the commuters at an after work. It’s a good thing they have a big terrace.
The soothing environment makes it one of my outdoor study spots after a fresh soup for lunch. You can start your walk to the city center, one of my other spots (check the Walk to the city center article) here. As the beginning of the most beautiful walk to the city starts next to Eltòn. But first, coffee!
One more thing: you can’t leave a bar without using the toilet. Make sure to use this one, you won't regret it.
