A few years ago I followed a Thai cooking workshop at Eethaven. In the meantime, the owner published several books on street food. In addition they also run a noodle bar close to the city center. They're only open for lunch and this tiny place fills up rapidly.
The first time I was there I remember the place was packed, not only with people but also with an exotic smell. The menu is rather small and changes regularly. Expect noodle soup, dim sum, bun cha, gyoza, etc. The wooden interior and the fact that everyone sits close to each other around the cooking area gives this place a very cosy feeling. They also make their own drinks, like lemongrass lemonade. The freshness of the ingredients and the taste make me and my tummy happy each time. And if you wish to make the same at home, just buy one of their cooking books.
