In Ottensen, the lively and bustling quarter of Hamburg-Altona, the Café Reh Bar offers locals wonderful coffee during the day and alcoholic drinks in the evenings. Two rooms invite you when it's raining while benches outside the café let you enjoy your coffee in the sun - which I personally prefer. I love to watch the people walking by on the busy street and bathe in the sun as I enjoy my Cappuccino or big glass of Latte Macchiato. The Café Reh Bar has been in my life since I can remember - probably since I drink coffee... I go there whenever I find the time! It feels like my own living room to me.
The young waiters and waitresses at Café Reh Bar are always nice and attentive and even bring sweet snacks with the coffee and something salty whenever people order a beer or a cocktail.
During the day, the atmosphere inside and outside of the café is relaxed and chill: it's the best place to have a hot drink with your best friend! I love taking friends who visit Hamburg there to chat and catch up on each other's lives. During happy hour, the place gets backed with young people from the area - definite evidence that the Café Reh Bar is the place to be! The back room offers seats for smokers, while the front room is non-smoking.
