In Sternschanze, you will find the Ratsherren brewery and craft beer store – a heaven for beer lovers. Over 500 different beers from all over the world can be bought at the craft beer store. I love going there and buying different bottles to try at home. Even though I’m more of a pilsner person, I still find many different kinds of beer I haven’t tried before. The store is also a perfect place to assemble a birthday beer present for friends!
For those who are interested in the fermentation process of beer, Ratsherren offers two different brewery tours. For 60 or 105 minutes you will dive into the history of beer brewing, learn more about the brewing process and get to taste three (five on the long tour) different kinds of Ratsherren beers. The different Ratsherren beers can also be purchased at the craft beer store. Depending on the season, Ratsherren offers around six different types of beers, ales and lagers. Come in and experience the world of beer!
